Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for a permanent site-based role in Leeds. You will diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems to ensure safety and reliability.

The role offers a competitive salary (£42,000-£46,000 per annum), core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week), 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous workplace pension scheme, and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Proven experience as Maintenance Electrician in facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and circuitry.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure longevity of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment.
