Leeds Beckett University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Physical Education to join our vibrant and collegiate Carnegie School of Sport. We would welcome applications from collaboratively minded individuals, who have a strong educational and professional background in Physical Education. You will have experience of supporting students or early career Physical Education teachers develop their craft as teachers. Ideally you will be able to evidence expertise in one or more areas relating to pedagogy, curriculum development or physical literacy. You will be expected to have relevant Undergraduate and Post Graduate qualifications including qualified teacher status (QTS). A doctorate would be desirable but is not essential. Applicants seeking appointment at Senior Lecturer will be expected to have strong experience in delivering research-led teaching in undergraduate, postgraduate or professional development contexts. A demonstrable or emerging capacity to contribute to our research, knowledge exchange and consultancy activities will also be valuable.
