Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out teaching and scholarship activities in popular musics, including aesthetics and/or ethnomusicology? Can you pursue, develop, and take forward pedagogic developments? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University?

The School of Music at the University of Leeds invites applications for the role of Lecturer in Popular Musics. You may have interests in any area of Popular Music and/or related fields. As a Lecturer, you will carry out teaching and scholarship alongside contributions to the administrative processes and committee structures of the School, Faculty, and University. You will be a committed teacher and an outstanding communicator able to contribute to undergraduate and taught postgraduate study in the area. Your duties will include lecturing, seminar delivery, dissertation supervision and assessment, as well as academic personal tutoring.
