Are you passionate about computing, digital technologies and developing the next generation of digital professionals? If you are, we are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Computing Lecturer to join our dynamic Digital Industries team at our Bede Campus.

This role offers the opportunity to teach across our T Level Digital programmes, including Digital Support Services and Software Development, supporting students to develop the technical knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours required to progress into employment or higher-level study. You will work within a modern, industry-focused learning environment, helping to prepare the digital workforce of the future.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of high-quality computing programmes, ensuring curriculum relevance, industry alignment, and excellent learning experiences.
• Provide strong academic and pastoral support to students, including those with EHCPs or ALS needs, and actively support progression to higher education or employment.
• Embrace and implement digital learning technologies to enhance teaching, assessment, and student engagement, while sharing best practices across the team.
• Monitor and support student performance, attendance, and behaviour; contribute to interviews, inductions, parental engagement, and safeguarding procedures.
• Oversee quality assurance processes, including curriculum reviews, assessment preparation, and compliance with awarding body and college standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to manage course documentation, maintain accurate records on college platforms (e.g. SharePoint), and contribute to a culture of celebration and excellence.
