Job summary

Coleg Cambria is seeking an experienced teacher to deliver a range of teaching and learning methods to our learners across all levels. You will create a nurturing environment and deliver practical and classroom-based learning while supporting learners’ progress and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Enrolling learners on appropriate courses and providing coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities as well as ensuring the safety and welfare of our students at all times., Roles are normally advertised with a salary range. Qualifications

• A minimum Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g Cert Ed/PGCE) or be working towards a Level 5 teaching qualification
• Experience of working with/supporting young people with Additional Learning Needs
• Knowledge of the broad range of learning needs and how to support these needs within a learning environment
• Knowledge and understanding of Additional Learning Needs best practice and legislation
• Awareness of the importance of quality standards within teaching
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Self-motivated and well-organised professional who works independently and takes initiative

Salary and Benefits

Salary: £33,596 - £51,932 (Upper pay range points UP2 and UP3 are subject to evidence of previous progression to Upper Pay Spine).
