Salary £28,273 to £42,655 per annum

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lecturer to join our Future Focus team, delivering high-quality education and support to young people aged 16-18 who are not currently engaged in education, employment or training (NEET). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of learners by helping them overcome barriers, build confidence and develop the skills needed to progress into further education, employment or vocational training.

As a Lecturer within our Future Focus provision, you will lead and deliver engaging learning programmes across our NEET and Supported Internship pathways. You will be responsible for planning and delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, ensuring learners are supported to achieve their individual goals and positive progression outcomes. The role extends beyond the classroom, requiring you to provide personalised support, mentoring, and guidance to learners who may face a range of social, emotional, educational or personal challenges. Working closely with colleagues, employers, parents and external agencies, you will help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables every learner to reach their potential.

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate educator who is committed to supporting disadvantaged young people and those who face barriers to learning. You will have successful experience of teaching and engaging learners who require additional support, adapting your approach to meet individual needs and enable them to succeed.

You will be experienced in providing holistic, wraparound support to students, including delivering effective Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG), helping learners identify realistic progression pathways and achieve their aspirations. You will also have experience working with learners who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities, using inclusive teaching strategies to enable participation, achievement and independence.

Most importantly, you will be a highly motivated professional who believes in the potential of every learner and is committed to helping young people develop the confidence, resilience and skills needed to succeed in their next steps.
