Job summary

Richmond upon Thames College is recruiting a full-time Electrical Installations Lecturer to join the Construction and Engineering team. You will teach and mentor students, deliver practical sessions and contribute to raising attainment across the department.

You will hold a Level 3 in Electrical Installation with industry experience and a commitment to ongoing professional development within a London-based FE environment. The role includes London Weighting and a comprehensive benefits package.

We are expanding our provision of Electrical Installation at Richmond upon Thames College. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled professional to join our team. We are seeking a full-time Electrical Installations Lecturer who is passionate about the subject and can raise achievement through motivating, challenging and inspiring our students. Working as part of a team to provide pastoral guidance and support to ensure the Construction and Engineering department can contribute to the success rates of the college overall.

You will be qualified to Level 3 in Electrical Installation, with experience gained within the industry, and have teaching / training experience. You will be supported in the team, and have continued professional development opportunities.

The UK Government have a scheme in place which enables eligible Further Education teachers within their first 5 years of teaching in Further Education to claim up to £6,000 directly from the Government.
