New City College seeks an experienced Lecturer in Electrical Installation to teach and assess learners across Level 1 to Level 3, 16–18, adults and apprenticeships. Join a strong team focused on developing practical skills, knowledge and confidence from induction to progression.
You will deliver high-quality teaching, assess learners and contribute to curriculum development, with a commitment to safeguarding and equality. The role is based across NCC campuses with term-time considerations.
Pay Range: £33,400 - £52,100 per annum. Placement on the scale will depend on qualifications and experience.
Hours and weeks: 35 hrs per week, 52 weeks per year
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Term: Term time runs from Mid August to Mid July.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join our strong and dynamic team. You will teach and assess learners across a range of Electrical programmes, from Level 1 to Level 3, including 16 to 18 provision, adult learners and apprenticeships. You will play an important role in developing learners’ practical skills, knowledge and confidence, supporting them from induction through to successful achievement and progression.
You will be a qualified Electrician with the 18th Edition qualification and have relevant experience working within the Electrical industry. You will bring practical industry knowledge, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A relevant teaching or training qualification and an assessor qualification are advantageous, alongside experience of developing assessment plans and schemes of work. You will also be committed to safeguarding, equality and diversity, and supporting every learner to achieve their potential
