Job summary

A college-based role with Allscreens Nationwide Ltd seeks an instructor to deliver Electrical Installation across Levels 1–3, covering theory, practicals, inspection and fault‑finding, and to help shape programme delivery.

The post requires planning, marking, tutorials, pastoral care and liaison with employers, to support learners toward occupational competence and End Point Assessment.

Qualifications

  • Excellent teaching across Electrical Installation Levels 1–3.
  • Ability to design schemes of work, assessment plans and course documentation.
  • Experience supporting learners through tutorials, pastoral care and progress reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver teaching across Electrical Installation, including theory and practical work.
  • Plan, prepare and assess learning, including marking and feedback.
  • Act as Course Leader for designated programmes, overseeing delivery, assessment schedules, quality processes and student progress.
  • Support learner progression toward full occupational competence and End Point Assessment.
  • Organise work placements and liaise with employers and external bodies.

What skills and experience we're looking for
  • Strong teaching and delivery skills across Electrical Installation at Levels 1–3.
  • Experience delivering practical and theory sessions including inspection & testing and fault‑finding.
  • Ability to design schemesofwork, assessmentplansand course documentation.
  • Experience supporting learners through tutorials, pastoralcare,and progress reviews.
  • Familiarity with awarding‑body requirements, assessmentstandardsand quality processes.
  • Competence in managing course administration including enrolment, registers, datareturnsand reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a teaching team and with cross‑college services.
  • Experience engaging with employers and supporting work placements.
