Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Lecturer in High Wycombe to deliver vocational Electrical training to students and help them progress into industry roles.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, teach practical and classroom content, and receive Full Teacher Training with support toward a teaching qualification. The role is full-time (35 hours per week) at the Wycombe Campus, with a competitive salary (£38,500 - £47,000) and a clear career progression path.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong and up-to-date Electrical industry experience.
• Experience mentoring, instructing, training or supporting others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Are you an Electrician with strong hands-on industry experience?

This is an excellent opportunity as an Electrical Lecturer, where you will be supported to gain your teaching qualification if you do not already hold one. The employer provides support with the qualification and associated fees, alongside an incremental salary award on completion.

You will join a supportive team within the Construction and Technology department, delivering high-quality, vocationally relevant Electrical training across a range of levels. You will combine your practical industry knowledge with classroom-based teaching, helping students develop the technical skills, confidence and knowledge required to progress into successful careers.

This role would suit an experienced Electrician who is looking for a change from industry and wants to use their knowledge in a more rewarding and long-term career in education.
