Job summary

FIS is seeking an experienced HR professional to provide operational support for leave of absence, capability management, and employee benefits programmes. You will act as a key contact for employees and managers, ensuring accurate, compliant handling of cases and documentation throughout the absence lifecycle.

You will coordinate with payroll and external providers, maintain records in HR systems, and monitor milestones such as medical reviews and return-to-work activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in leave of absence and employee benefits processes.
• Knowledge of UK and Polish leave of absence employment law is preferred.
• Ability to interact with employees, managers, payroll, and external providers.

Responsibilities

• Administers leave of absence programmes including sickness, family, statutory, disability-related leave and other approved types.
• Supports capability and attendance management processes and maintains accurate records.
• Acts as primary contact for leave, absence, capability, and benefits enquiries and provides guidance.
• Coordinates with external vendors, occupational health, benefits administrators, payroll, and HR colleagues.
• Maintains absence and benefits records in HR systems ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Prepares correspondence, case documentation, reports, and audit materials.
• Identifies opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency and employee experience.
