Job summary

Aspinal of London is seeking a curious, proactive Product Developer for a maternity cover role in our Leathergoods Product Development team. You will help deliver first prototypes from concept to collection sign-off, ensuring margins and milestones are met, and align with stakeholders across Design, supply base, Production, Marketing and Merchandising.

The role requires daily presence in the Fernhurst office and close collaboration with HOPD to maintain the development timeline and quality

Qualifications

• Experience supporting product development from concept to sign-off.
• Ability to manage critical path deadlines and stakeholder milestones.
• Proven supplier management experience in leather goods.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Product Development in prototypes and SMS at key stages of development.
• Collaborate with design, supply base, production, marketing and merchandising.
• Maintain techpacks, BOMs, CADs and critiques with suppliers.
• Coordinate product testing and wear-trial surveys for new samples.
• Lead supplier meetings and update sample trackers to reflect progress.
• Ensure on-time delivery and accurate handover to production.
