Job summary

Aspinal of London Limited is seeking a product developer on a maternity cover basis for our Fernhurst Leathergoods Product Development team. The role supports the Head of Product Development to drive prototypes from concept to collection sign-off and on-time delivery of SMS for seasonal leather goods.

Based in Fernhurst, you will work with Design, supply base, Production, Marketing and Merchandising to meet milestones and margin targets, ensuring quality and fit-for-purpose collections.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced product development environment.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail across documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with design, supply base and production.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Product Development in delivering prototypes and SMS at key stages.
• Maintain techpacks, BOMs and supplier communications for seasonal launches.
• Lead supplier meetings to ensure samples stay on track and on timeline.
• Coordinate product testing, wear trial surveys and feedback to HOPD.
• Present and handover collection information to Production for on-time delivery.
