Job summary

Aspinal of London is seeking a curious, proactive Product Developer to join our Leathergoods Product Development team on a maternity cover basis. You will support the team from concept to collection sign-off, ensuring margins, fit, and milestones are met for seasonal leather goods.

You will work closely with Design, supply base, Production, Marketing and Merchandise to deliver prototypes, ensure accurate BOMs and CADs, and achieve timely production handover while maintaining high quality

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Adobe Illustrator.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise, manage own time and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Product Development in delivering prototypes and SMS at key stages.
• Update Product Development Bible and liaise with suppliers on costs.
• Collaborate with design to ensure BOMs, CADs and critiques are current.
• Manage collection development and ensure timely handover to production.
• Lead supplier meetings to track samples to timelines.
• Coordinate testing and wear trial surveys.
