Job summary

BCP Council is seeking a Leasehold and Right to Buy Support Officer to join the Housing and Protection team at Kinson Hub. The role handles leasehold and Right to Buy processes, administering service charges for around 1,200 leasehold properties within a 10,000-home portfolio.

It offers a starting salary in band with progression opportunities and a pro rata arrangement for part-time staff. As part of the Income & Leasehold Service, you will be the main contact for leaseholders and tenants,

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications and relevant administrative experience.
• Experience delivering administrative and customer support services.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in records and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional first point of contact for leaseholders, tenants and other stakeholders.
• Process Right to Buy applications from receipt to completion with eligibility checks and timely documentation.
• Maintain leasehold, service charge and Right to Buy records across multiple systems.
• Assist with calculating and billing service charges and estate charges following procedures.
• Support statutory consultation processes and maintain associated records and communications.
• Prepare leaseholder information, welcome packs and responses to customers, solicitors and agents.
• Monitor communal utility usage and assist with charge reconciliations.
• Undertake general admin duties including filing, scanning and data entry.
• Collaborate with Housing teams to deliver an efficient, customer-focused service.
