Job summary

Learning Support Worker is being recruited for North Roe Primary School, Shetland. The role supports children with ASN, working with teachers and specialists to implement individualised education programmes.

It is a temporary part-time post (18 hours per week) for about 9 months, initially to cover maternity leave, with potential flexibility on working arrangements. The post is based at North Roe Primary School.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and education of children and young people with additional support needs (ASN).
• Work with individual children or groups within a department or mainstream class, under guidance from teachers.
