Job summary

Bedford College Group is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner to join our Foundation Learning & Additional Learning Support team at Bedford Campus. You will provide personalised support to learners with SEND to remove barriers to learning and help them access education in diverse environments.

The role involves monitoring progress, reporting findings to teaching teams, and contributing to EHCP reviews and multi-agency meetings.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Learning Support or related field with Level 2 Maths and English.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND in FE or similar settings.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and digital skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provides personalised support to remove barriers to learning and enable learners with SEND to access education.
• Observes, records and reports learner progress and contributes to EHCP reviews and progress meetings.
• Promotes inclusive approaches and supports communication, behaviour, social development and study skills.
