Job summary

The Bedford College Group is looking for Learning Support Practitioners to join their Foundation Learning and Additional Learning Support team. This role supports students with SEND, promotes independence, and involves collaboration with teachers. Candidates should have a Level 3 qualification in Learning Support and relevant experience.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary between £25,585 and £30,915 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The role requires a commitment to safeguarding and working across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Learning Support or a related field.
• Proven experience supporting learners with SEND and additional needs.
• Strong understanding of SEND strategies and promoting independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to remove barriers to learning for SEND learners.
• Work closely with teachers to implement effective strategies.
• Observe and report learner progress for planning and reviews.
