Job summary

Fairholme Primary School in Feltham is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner to support KS2 learners. The role is part-time, term-time, with hours 8:30am–3:30pm and a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027.

The salary is £33,129–£35,109 per year, with a start date as soon as possible and closing date 5 October 2026. You will work to deliver targeted interventions and help children develop confidence and independence.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with KS2 children.
  • Ability to support individuals, small groups and whole-class learning.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Committed to safeguarding and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-class support to KS2 learners across the timetable.
  • Deliver targeted interventions to help children overcome barriers to learning.
  • Support individual, small-group and whole-class activities.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to raise attainment.

We are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Learning Support Practitioner to join our wonderful school and work alongside our committed teachers and support staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with KS2 children and is passionate about helping every child reach their potential. You will provide support across the classroom, work with individuals and small groups, deliver targeted interventions and help children overcome barriers to learning.

You will play an important role in helping our pupils to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning, while ensuring that every child feels valued, included and able to achieve.

  • Is organised, proactive and able to use their initiative

  • Has a good standard of written and spoken English
