Spring Meadow Primary School in Tendring is seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive, caring team. You will provide in-class support for pupils, deliver targeted interventions, and help children access learning in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Is patient, caring and able to build positive relationships with pupils
• Has a good understanding of inclusive practice and strategies to support learning
• Is able to adapt support to meet a range of needs, including communication and behaviour
• Has strong teamwork and communication skills
• Is proactive, flexible and willing to learn
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Has some experience of working with children with SEND (desirable)

• Assist with the planning and adaptation of learning activities

• Support pupils with personal care where required
• Help create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
• Promote pupils' emotional wellbeing and inclusion across the school day

Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Spring Meadow Primary School

Hours: 8.50am to 3.20pm, Term Time Only
