Job summary

ISC group is seeking a dedicated SEND support assistant to help pupils with SEND access learning and social development. You will contribute to implementing targets on individual education plans in liaison with the SENDCo, supporting learning across lessons and helping pupils build confidence and independence.

Working closely with teachers, the Director of Pupil Progress and external specialists, you will adapt activities, monitor progress, and foster a calm, inclusive classroom environment

Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with learning and social needs in class and during activities.
• Implement targets from the pupil's IEP in liaison with the SENDCo.
• Collaborate with the Director of Pupil Progress (SENDCo), teaching staff, and external specialists to support progress.
• Support pupils to complete tasks, build confidence and independence, and work collaboratively with classroom teachers.
