Job summary

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking a Learning Support Officer on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave until November 2027. The post involves leading a team of Learning Facilitators, coordinating absence management and performance reviews, and ensuring learning support across all curriculum areas.

You will work with Lecturers to provide tailored support for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, helping them achieve qualifications and reach their potential in

Learning Support Officer – Maternity Cover

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint full time Learning Support Officer.

The Learning Support Officer will be required to manage a team of Learning Facilitators, which will include absence management, and Performance Management Reviews, ensuring that learning support is provided to learners across all curriculum areas. The Learning Support Officer will work closely with the Learning Facilitators and Lecturers to ensure a fully integrated approach to supporting individuals or groups of students.

The Learning Support Officer will provide support for students who require learning support due to learning difficulties and/or disabilities, to ensure they achieve their qualification aims and reach their potential in all areas of the college curriculum to include Adults and Apprenticeships.

This position is offered on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover until November 2027, or until the substantive post holder returns to work.
