Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking a Learning Support Officer on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave until November 2027. The post involves leading a team of Learning Facilitators, coordinating absence management and performance reviews, and ensuring learning support across all curriculum areas.

You will work with Lecturers to provide tailored support for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, helping them achieve qualifications and reach their potential in

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification and 5 GCSEs including Maths and English.
• Desirable: relevant professional qualifications.
• Experience with learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in education.

Responsabilités

• Manage a team of Learning Facilitators.
• Handle absence management and performance management reviews.
• Provide learning support across curriculum areas.
• Support individuals or groups of students to achieve qualification aims.
