Job summary

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking a Safeguarding and Welfare Officer to provide proactive welfare, wellbeing and safeguarding support to our learners. You will work with students, staff and external agencies to address barriers to learning and support learners with complex needs.

The role can be offered on a term-time-only basis; salary will be adjusted accordingly. The college values flexibility, excellent培训 and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent, including Maths and English, with knowledge of safeguarding and mental health awareness.
  • Experience liaising with a range of people and external agencies; strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

Job description

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a Safeguarding and Welfare Officer to provide high-quality, proactive welfare, wellbeing and safeguarding support to our learners.

The successful candidate will work closely with students, staff and external agencies to identify and address barriers to learning, support students with complex needs and safeguarding concerns, and help learners achieve their full potential.

This role can also be offered on a term time only basis. The salary will be adjusted accordingly.

You will also be confident in using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
