Job summary

Engage Education are partnering with Rochdale secondary schools to place Learning Support Mentors for the 2026/27 academic year. You will provide 1:1 and small group SEN support to pupils with complex learning needs in a full-time role based in Rochdale.

The position runs Monday to Friday from September 2026 to July 2027, with duties including rapport-building, collaboration with colleagues, and reporting to the SENCO, while offering access to free online CPD courses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 UK based degree.
• Prior experience teaching, tutoring or volunteering with children.
• Enhanced DBS on update service desirable but NOT mandatory.
• Open to full-time work beginning September 2026.
