Job summary

Choice Teachers are recruiting a full-time Learning Support Mentor for a Cambridge college. This temporary to permanent role offers agency onboarding with potential for a permanent position.

You will deliver day-to-day support to students, help them engage with college life, and work closely with staff to foster confidence and progress.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young people.
  • Patient, approachable and supportive personality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education, SEN, youth work or learning support experience is beneficial.

Learning Support Mentor

Location: Cambridge
Pay: £106 per day
Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Contract: Full time, term time
Type: Temporary to Permanent via Choice Teachers
Start Date: ASAP

Choice Teachers are working with a college in Cambridge to recruit a full time Learning Support Mentor to join their dedicated student support team.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to join the college on an agency basis initially, with the potential to move into a permanent position.

The role will involve providing day to day support to students with their learning, confidence and development, helping them to engage positively with college life and achieve their potential.

The Role

We Are Looking For
  • Someone with experience working with young people

  • A patient, approachable and supportive personality

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Previous education, SEN, youth work or learning support experience is beneficial

  • Reliable and committed to a full time role

  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

£106 per day | 8:30am - 4:30pm | Cambridge | Full time | Temp to Perm
