Job summary

Qualifications

• Understanding of National Curriculum, EYFS Guidance and related codes (SEN, Safeguarding)
• Effective use of ICT to support teaching and learning
• Ability to interact with courtesy, tact and diplomacy
• Ability to establish professional working relationships with colleagues and learners

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning and evaluation of learning and recording pupils’ progress
• Support individuals and small groups to accelerate learning
• Support emotional, behavioural and pastoral needs of pupils, ensuring safety and access to activities
• Assist with development and implementation of Individual Education / Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes
• Encourage pupils to develop as independent learners with a thirst for learning
