Job summary

Kingswood Primary Academy in Corby is seeking a friendly Learning Assistant to join our team. You will support pupils across activities, work with teachers to prepare resources, and help deliver personalised learning plans.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths.
• Teaching Assistant qualifications or experience preferred.
• Experience of supporting children with SEND is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils’ learning across a range of activities.
• Work closely with teachers to prepare engaging resources and deliver personalised learning plans.
• Foster independence and self-esteem in pupils, including those with SEND.
• Assist with classroom organisation and ensure a safe, stimulating learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families, contributing to our inclusive ethos.
• Support pupils during off-site visits and collaborate with external agencies when needed.
