Job summary

Randstad Education is partnering with a Bromley-based Further Education college to recruit a Learning Support Assistant & First Aider. This role centres on helping learners with SEN achieve EHCP targets and build independent futures within a term-time schedule.

You will serve as the designated College First Aider, supporting personal care and mobility, while collaborating with teaching staff to update plans and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Level 2 English and Level 2 Maths (or equivalent) required.
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting SEN learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored educational and personal development support to SEN learners.
• Act as designated College First Aider for campus medical needs and learner safety.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and well-being with dignity and respect.
• Support EHCP outcomes and person-centred support plans.
• Help students build self-advocacy, study skills and confidence to access services.
• Collaborate with staff and external key workers to update support plans.
