Job summary

Randstad Education in Bromley is seeking a dedicated First Aid Certified Learning Support Worker to assist learners with SEN during term-time at a busy further education college. You will provide tailored educational and personal development support, act as College First Aider, assist with personal care and mobility needs, and help students progress toward EHCP targets with dignity and respect.

Working with teaching staff and external key workers, you will contribute to an inclusive environment

Qualifications

Essential First Aid certification or willingness to gain.
Level 2 in English and Maths.
Commitment to safeguarding and learner support.

Responsibilities

Provide tailored educational, personal development, and accessibility support to learners with SEN across diverse curriculum areas.
Act as an active, designated College First Aider, responding swiftly to campus medical needs and ensuring learner safety.
Support learners with personal care, mobility needs, and physical well-being with dignity and respect.
Assist in delivering outcomes outlined in EHCPs and person-centred support plans.
Help students develop self-advocacy, study skills, and confidence to access all college services and activities.
Collaborate with teaching staff, support coordinators, and external key workers to update support plans and report progression.
