Job summary

The City of Liverpool College is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Practitioner to assist students with a wide range of learning needs.

You will work under the Team Leader - Learning Support, supporting learners from Level 1 to Level 4/5, delivering inclusive teaching support and helping remove barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Educated to Level 2 in English and Maths.
• Excellent computer literacy and ability to use college IT systems.
• Experience of supporting students in educational settings.
• Knowledge of disabilities and learning difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality learning support to students with diverse needs.
• Assist teaching staff and implement reasonable adjustments as directed.
• Maintain records of support delivered for quality assurance.
• Monitor student progress and report concerns to the team leader.
• Liaise with tutors and external agencies when required.
