Job summary

The Education Network are recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming SEN school in Coventry. You will provide 1-2-1 and small group support to secondary students with a range of needs, including Autism and Complex Needs, under experienced guidance.

You will work as part of a collaborative team, supporting class teachers and the SENCO, with access to training and ongoing CPD to develop your skills and make a positive impact.

Qualifications

  • Must have Level 2 or Level 3 Learning Support Assistant qualification.
  • Experience supporting children with Autism or Complex Needs is essential.
  • Ability to provide tailored 1-2-1 and small group support in a secondary setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support for students with SEN in 1-2-1 and small group settings.
  • Collaborate with teaching and support teams to deliver high-quality SEN support.
  • Record progress and report to the SENCO, contributing to individual plans.

LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANTS - SEND

We love working with this SEN school and as a Learning Support Assistant we are sure you would too. You will be joining a friendly team who are seeking to recruit three LSA's to provide 1-2-1 and class support for secondary aged children with a range of special educational needs. This role requires Level 2 or Level 3 Learning Support Assistants who love working with children and young adults with special educational needs and who know a smile goes a long way.

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be joining a lovely team who will not only provide support but will also welcome you from day one. This school has fabulous and is a place where both staff and students thrive. You will be working closely with an experienced teaching and support team who love what they do and who will provide the support you need to understand what is important to this school which is focused on putting the needs of the students first. You must have experience supporting children with Autism or Complex Needs in a education or care setting.

Job Role:
  • Providing tailored support for a child and young adults with special educational needs.
  • Working closely with an experienced teaching and support team to provide the best possible support.
  • Supporting a range of Special Educational Needs including Autism, Complex Needs, and Aspergers.
  • Delivering interactions to students on a 1-2-1 and small group basis.
  • Managing behaviours, helping the child to engage with lessons, develop communication skills and gain confidence.
  • Recording progress of the child and reporting to the SENCO.
