Academics is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across primary schools in the Vale of Glamorgan, including Barry, Penarth, Cowbridge and Dinas Powys. Opportunities vary from short-term supply to longer-term roles, with weekly pay and support from a dedicated education recruitment consultant.

Opportunities include 1:1 and ALN support, general classroom assistance, and day-to-day ad-hoc placements to fit around your availability. DBS and EWC registration are required or in process.

Qualifications

• Experience as Learning Support Assistant or similar school-based role.
• Experience supporting children\'s learning and development.
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Confidence working with teachers and other support staff.
• Genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.

We're Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar school-based support role.
• Experience supporting children with their learning and development.
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Confidence working alongside teachers and other support staff.
• A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
