Job summary

Capel Manor College in London is seeking Learning Support Assistants to join its team. You will support students with a range of needs on an individual or small group basis, working alongside teaching staff to help deliver vocational courses and promote student inclusion and achievement.

No prior experience is required; we are looking for people who are passionate about creating a nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Learning Support is not essential.
• Passionate about developing a nurturing learning environment and for supporting and helping others.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students with a variety of needs on an individual or small group basis.
• Assist in the delivery of vocational courses to support student inclusion and achievement.
• Use strategies to support students with learning disabilities or difficulties or behavioural or emotional needs to achieve their learning goals.
• Monitor their progress and provide regular and detailed feedback.
