Job summary

Capital City College in London is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, working with small groups and 1:1 sessions across campuses.

The role is full-time but term-time only (38 weeks per year), with a focus on differentiating and facilitating learning to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Confidence working with systems and processes, and good tracking and IT skills.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Experience of working with learners with learning/behavioural difficulties and disabilities aged 14 and up.

Responsibilities

• Support learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities within the campuses, differentiating and facilitating learning to meet learner needs.
• Work with learners in small groups, 1:1 sessions and as floating support across the college.
