Job summary

Capital City College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to assist learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities across London campuses. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, with a focus on differentiating teaching to meet individual learner needs.

This full-time, term-time only permanent post is based across CCC campuses, supporting students aged 14 and above. A proactive, organised approach and clear communication are essential for success in a collaborative college

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
  • Experience with learners aged 14 and up.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in groups and 1:1 settings.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to college systems.

Are you ready to make an impact at one of London's leading Further Education providers? Capital City College is looking for a skilled Learning Support Assistant to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.

About the Role

This role is offered on a full-time, term-time only permanent basis. This role is term time only, working 38 weeks per year.

To support learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities (including emotional and/or behavioural difficulties) within the Campuses and to differentiate and facilitate learning according to the learner need. You will be working with small groups, 1:1 and as floating support.

We're looking for a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. You should bring:

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Confidence working with systems and processes, and good tracking and IT skills
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Experience of working with learners with learning/behavioural difficulties and disabilities aged 14 and up
