Chadsgrove Educational Trust Specialist College in Catshill, Bromsgrove, invites applications for a Learning Support Assistant Grade 2. The role is 17.25 hours per week, permanent, term-time only, Tue/Wed/Thu 9:45am–4:00pm, salary SCP 5-6 (£28,017-£28,437 FTE inc Special Needs Allowance).

Based in Catshill, the college supports students aged 19-25 with special educational needs arising from physical disabilities.

Formación

• Experience working with adults with a physical disability is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to empathise and work positively with individuals’ needs.
• Ambitious to support students and adapt to diverse learning activities.

Responsabilidades

• Support teaching activities and assist with changing/personal care.
• Assist students with offsite learning as required.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary team including manual handling when needed.
