Job summary

Saint Gregory’s Catholic College in England seeks a Learning Support Assistant to support in-class learning, run small group activities, and provide one-to-one help for students with SEND. The role is permanent with flexible hours, across term-time weeks including INSET days, up to 30.42 hours weekly.

Salary is Grade 3 SCP 5-6, with actual pay based on hours worked; closing date 1 November 2026 and interview 12 November 2026.

Qualifications

• No prior Learning Support Assistant experience required; open to new career challengers.
• Minimum of three working days per week, must include Monday and Friday.
• Term-time only plus INSET days on agreed working days.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to in-class support and small group work.
• Provide one-to-one support for students with SEND.
• Engage and encourage students to achieve their best.
