Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist provision supporting pupils aged 3-11 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in Carmarthenshire. You will work Monday to Friday during school hours, with term-time only options.

You will support one-to-one or small groups, use visual supports and sensory activities, and collaborate with teachers, therapists and families to help children access meaningful learning.

Qualifications

• All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
• Experience with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) or related settings is desirable.
• Ability to work with children with complex learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
