Job summary

Prospero Teaching’s client, a secondary school committed to inclusion, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide support across its SEND provision and Inclusion Room. You will build positive relationships with students and support their access to learning.

Key duties include one-to-one and group support, delivering interventions in literacy and numeracy, and working with teachers and the SEND team to monitor progress and support reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Understand the importance of consistency and clear communication.
• Confident supporting students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one and small group support for students with additional needs.
• Delivering targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum areas.
• Supporting students within the Inclusion Room and during reintegration into lessons.
• Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff and the SEND team.
• Monitoring progress and contributing to support plans and reviews.
