Job summary

Prospero Teaching is supporting a secondary school in Kirklees with its Learning Support Assistant (LSA) role across SEND provision and the Inclusion Room.

You will build positive relationships with students, support learning access, and contribute to reintegration into lessons, working closely with teachers, pastoral staff and the SEND team.

Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - SEND & Inclusion Room

Our client, a secondary school with a strong commitment to inclusion, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide support across its SEND provision and Inclusion Room.

This role is suited to someone who can build positive working relationships with young people, maintain high expectations, and provide consistent support to students who require additional help to access learning.

The Inclusion Room offers a structured environment for students requiring short-term intervention, academic support, or assistance with reintegration into mainstream lessons. Alongside this, you will work with students who have SEND, supporting individual learning plans and helping them engage successfully in school life.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing one-to‑one and small group support for students with additional needs.
