Job summary

Seymour Primary School in Crawley is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (SEND) to support pupils with diverse needs and contribute to high-quality learning outcomes.

You will work under teachers to deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, and wellbeing, build positive relationships, and help pupils progress with independence and confidence. Term-time, 29.17 HPW, permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learning in a school setting or background in childcare/SEND.
• Ability to deliver targeted one-to-one or small-group interventions.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and supporting all learners.

Responsibilities

• Build warm, positive relationships with pupils.
• Collaborate with class teachers to support high-quality learning and classroom management.
• Deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, or wellbeing as required.
• Encourage pupil independence, resilience, and positive behaviour for learning.
