Job summary

St Paul’s Catholic College is seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to provide personalised SEN support in the classroom, including 1:1 and small group work. You will collaborate with teaching staff to tailor learning and monitor progress, contributing to IEP targets and annual reviews with the SENCO and Learning Support Manager.

You will support pupils to access the curriculum at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience providing SEN support in a classroom setting.
• Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised SEN provision on a 1:1 basis and in groups.
• Monitor pupil progress and feed back to the class teacher.
• Support pupils to access the curriculum at an appropriate level.
• Contribute to IEP targets and annual reviews in collaboration with staff.
• Liaise with the Learning Support Manager and SENCO.
