Job summary

St Paul’s Catholic College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide personalised SEN support in the classroom, including 1:1 and small group work, and to collaborate closely with teaching staff to ensure pupils’ needs are met effectively.

You will support pupils to access the curriculum, monitor progress, and contribute to IEP targets while upholding safeguarding and data protection policies within the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised SEN provision on a 1:1 basis and in groups.
• Support pupils in accessing the curriculum at an appropriate level.
• Monitor progress and feed back to the class teacher.
• Communicate effectively with pupils, teachers, parents and external support staff.
• Liaise with Learning Support Manager and the SENCO.
• Work with pupils in 1:1 or small group settings, in-class or withdrawal groups.
