Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for its Slough and Langley campuses on a part-time, term-time basis. The role is 15 hours per week over 37 term-time weeks, with a pro-rata salary on Scale G of £8,580.89 up to £9,187.34.

Qualifications

Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics (GCSE A-C or equivalent).
Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Dyspraxia.
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the post, including mobility support.
DBS checks and safeguarding as per college policy.

Responsibilities

Assist with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities.
Help students overcome physical, emotional, or learning boundaries.
Assist with assignments, exam preparation, and development of English, mathematics, and ICT skills.
Monitor student behaviour, maintain confidential records, adapt learning materials, and support use of specialist equipment.
