Job summary

Trumpington Park Primary School is seeking a Level One Teaching Assistant to join from September/October 2026. The role covers 32.5 hours per week during term-time, with an additional Midday Supervisor role for 5 hours per week. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm.

You will provide one-to-one and small group teaching, adapt resources, and work closely with our SENDCo to support pupils. The post includes a Midday Supervisor contract and is based at Trumpington Park Primary School,

Qualifications

• GCSE English & Maths Grade C (4/5) or above.
• Experience of supporting pupils with SEND and/or behavioural needs.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Adaptable, proactive and able to think on your feet.
• Understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group teaching to pupils.
• Adapt teaching resources and create engaging class displays.
• Work closely with the SENDCo and support staff.
• Prepare teaching materials and resources for lessons.
