Job summary

Trumpington Park Primary School in Cambridge is seeking a Midday Supervisor to oversee pupils during lunch breaks, mainly in the dining hall and playground. The role is term-time only, part-time and 1.25 hours daily, with flexibility as needs change.

The ideal candidate will have experience with children, an understanding of safeguarding, and good communication and teamwork skills. Training opportunities in first aid are available.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in a school or similar setting.
• Understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
• Ability to supervise and monitor pupil wellbeing and behaviour during lunch periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises during lunch period.
• Monitor the wellbeing and behaviour of pupils.
• Assist in setting up and clearing away lunchtime areas.
