Trumpington Park Primary School within Meridian Trust is seeking a Level One Teaching Assistant to start in September/October 2026. The role involves one-to-one and small group teaching, and close collaboration with the SEND team to support learning progress.
The post is term-time only, 32.5 hours per week, with an additional 5-hour Midday Supervisor role. They offer development opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm (term-time only)
Actual Salary: £18,261 - £18,841 (Level 1 Teaching Assistant) Meridian Trust Support Salary Scale, Grade 5 based on 32.5 hours per week. Plus Midday Supervisor role for 5 hours per week - Meridian Trust Support Staff Salary Scale, Grade 3. Actual Salary: £2,809
This a great opportunity for a Teaching Assistant role at Trumpington Park Primary School, starting in the Autumn Term. You will be making a real difference to the learning and progress of our pupils providing one-to-one and small group teaching as part of our fantastic team of teaching and support staff! You will be adapting teaching resources, thinking of new ways to learn, being fun and creative in your approach and adaptable to the children's needs. Our Teaching Assistants are highly valued in our school - you will work closely with our SENDCo and SEND team to provide our children with the best possible educational opportunities. An element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching resources/class displays and there will be a Midday Supervisor contract included in this role. You will be responsible to the Headteacher.
