Job summary

TKAT in Crawley is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive and collaborative team.

This fixed-term contract runs until 31/08/2027, part-time, based in Crawley, and focuses on assisting children with special educational needs in class, one-to-one and small groups. You will work with teachers to develop resources and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of educational, welfare and social needs of the children.
  • Able to work as part of a team and with teachers to support learning.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in delivery of teaching in classroom, one-to-one and in small groups.
  • Help develop resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies.
  • Support the learning needs of children with SEN.

patient, compassionate nature and a genuine interest in supporting their learning and development?

You will assist in the delivery of engaging and innovative teaching within the classroom, on a one-to-one basis and in small

groups. Working with the teacher you will assist with the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching

strategies to ensure provisions support individual learning needs.
