Job summary

Maldon Primary School, part of the TKAT family, is recruiting a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant on a fixed-term contract ending 21 July 2027. You will support children with ADHD and neurodiversity, assisting in delivering engaging lessons one-to-one and in small groups.

The role emphasises collaboration with teachers, developing appropriate resources and teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs. Passion and commitment to our mission are valued as highly as experience.

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and inclusive SEN Learning Support Assistant t o join our supportive and collaborative team.

Please note this is a fixed-term contract ending on 21st July 2027.

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you have a patient, compassionate nature and a genuine interest in supporting children with ADHD and neurodiversity in their learning and development?

You will assist in the delivery of engaging and innovative teaching within the classroom, on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. Working with the teacher you will assist with the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies to ensure provisions support individual learning needs.

Hours

32.5 hour per week Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm with a 30 min unpaid break
